Discover the science behind photography by exploring how light and exposure work, and apply your knowledge by building a pinhole camera to capture your own one-of-a-kind photograph.
During this program, learn how cameras use light to make photographs. You will then have an opportunity to create a pinhole camera using a can, tape and photo paper. The cameras will be placed in the library's window to let the photos develop. Return to the library at least 24 hours after the program to take home your camera and photo. This event is for children in K-5th grade.
If an ADA accommodation is needed, please contact the City of Sioux Falls Human Relations Office at 605-367-8745 or human.relations@siouxfalls.gov at least 72 hours before the event.
