Learn the basics of how and why to strength train, the importance of strength training as we age, and participate in some exercises to get started or restarted on a program.
Strength training is an important activity to add to our schedules, especially as we age. But with the abundance of information (and misinformation) out there, where’s a good place to start? The discussion will be focused on getting started with resistance training safely and continuing through the aging process. Bring your questions and your sneakers as a personal trainer/fitness instructor helps untangle the mystery of strength training. All participants must sign a liability waiver at the start of the program.
