Erin Castle has been active in the arts industry of Sioux Falls for the past 20 years as a creator, curator and cultivator. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Augustana College in 2006 with an emphasis on painting and has worked in arts-based retail spaces ever since. Before joining the Visual Arts Center, Erin served as the General Manager for Rehfeld’s Art & Framing for eight years. Her extensive experience spans custom framing, art conservation approaches, artful design and both corporate and residential art consultation. She has developed a wide network of artists and creators, cultivated through her experience representing artists in this region and beyond. In addition to her work at the Washington Pavilion, she is a board member for the Sioux Falls Arts Council and works every day to build a stronger and more vibrant arts community. Erin is a seasoned musician, writer and singer for her Americana band, The Clover Fold, and continues to pursue her own creative practice through painting.
