Award winning illustrator, Sam Kalda, will read spooky stories and guide the audience to write and illustrate their own ghost story.
Listen to spooky stories from Sam Kalda's most recent work, Haunted USA, in this spooky workshop for kids. Write your own ghost story, and with Sam's help, bring the story to life through illustration. Postcards and coloring sheets of selected ghost and monster illustrations from Haunted USA will be provided for attendees.
Sam Kalda is an illustrator and artist based in Saint Paul, MN. His works include illustrations in picture books, When We Walked on the Moon and When Darwin Sailed the Sea, as well as publications in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and many more. His awards include The Society of Illustrators Gold Medal, several American Illustration chosen images, and the Young Illustrators Award Nominee.
