In Victorian England, WS Gilbert wrote light hearted poetry and Arthur Sullivan was a decorated English composer. Their collaboration resulted in 14 light-hearted comic operas. Known for their undeniably catchy tunes, puns, social satire and physical comedy, Gilbert and Sullivan operas have been produced continuously around the world. This spring Sioux Falls Savoy will be presenting a Gilbert and Sullivan comic opera entitled Iloanthe. Come and learn about Iolanthe and hear from members of this spring's cast.
