Celebrating Native American Culture

A One Book Siouxland Event

Learn, look, listen -- at this observance of Siouxland Libraries' fifth annual One Book Siouxland -- "Winter Counts" by David Heska Wanbli Weiden.

Purchase a meal or snack from Lawrence West's Watecha Bowl food truck, learn about works by Native American artist Jerry Fogg, and enjoy storyteller, hoop dancer/indigenous flute player Kevin Locke.

11 a.m.-1 p.m. : Food truck open.
Noon - 1 p.m. : Jerry Fogg will discuss his art.
1-2 p.m. : Lawrence West will speak about the role of food in Native American culture.
2-4 p.m. : Kevin Locke will share stories, dance and play the flute.
