'Imagine Your Story' this summer by participating in our Summer Reading Program and participate in a Jack and the Beanstalk experiment!
Participate in Summer Reading Programs from home! Imagine a story about Jack and the Beanstalk as you watch your beanstalk grow!
This take-and-make is for children in grades K-5 and includes instructions, a plastic cup, cotton balls, a dry bean, a castle, and a stick. A template for the castle can also be printed from home here.
If you’d like to begin growing your beanstalk with us, we’ll be offering a Virtual Jack and the Beanstalk Program on Tuesday, June 23, on Facebook, YouTube, and our website.
If you have online access to ReadSquared, watch our virtual program to get the secret code for the Jack and the Beanstalk Mission. If you don't have online access, check off the Jack and the Beanstalk Mission on your paper log. Participating in five ReadSquared Missions will help you earn an extra raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing in our Summer Reading Program!
To pick up your take-and-make, visit any open branch of Siouxland Libraries or follow the instructions below when scheduling curbside service.
