'Imagine Your Story' this summer by participating in our Summer Reading Program! Register to pick up a take-and-make for our Jack and the Beanstalk experiment. For grades K-5.
Participate in Summer Reading Programs from home! Imagine a story about Jack and the Beanstalk as you watch your beanstalk grow! If you would like supplies to grow your own beanstalk, register to pick up the make-and-take at your library's curbside pickup. For children in grades K-5. One per person, while supplies last.
This take-and-make includes instructions, a plastic cup, cotton balls, a dry bean, a castle, and a stick. A template for the castle can also be printed from home here.
If you’d like to begin growing your beanstalk with us, we’ll be offering a Virtual Jack and the Beanstalk Program on Tuesday, June 23 on Facebook, YouTube, and our website.
If you have online access to ReadSquared, watch our virtual program to get the secret code for the Jack and the Beanstalk Mission. If you don't have online access, check off the Jack and the Beanstalk Mission on your paper log. Participating in five ReadSquared Missions will help you earn an extra raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing in our Summer Reading Program!
