In part 2, Mary Reecy Fitzgerald will explore history and composition of selected quilts belonging to those attending. Quilt registration required.

Mary Reecy Fitzgerald, author of "South Dakota Quilts and Quiltmakers," will evaluate and explore the composition and history of quilts brought by those attending. The director of the South Dakota Quilt Documentation Project, she has interviewed quilters and examined over 1,600 quilts across the state. The 2019 One Book Siouxland is Prairie Fires by Caroline Fraser.
