Herbarium Jars

This program will teach you about herbarium jars and the unique way to preserve dry flowers.

Flower preservation can come in many shapes and forms. Learn about herbarium jars and how you can beautifully display dried flowers. 

Supplies provided:
- glass jars
- dried flowers
- baby oil
- tools to arrange the items in jars

*If you'd like to bring your own flowers, they will need to be considerably small as the provided jars have narrow openings. Largest opening is at about an inch wide.
