June 21: Keeping Out Unwanted Guests. How to combat common pests and diseases in the garden.
July 19: Eating Locally, From the Garden and Beyond. Make the most of your summer garden abundance, shop the farmers' market, and other tips on increasing the amount of locally sourced food in your diet.
August 16: Seed Saving Techniques Part 1. Learn the wet seed processing method used for tomatoes, eggplant, and cucumbers. Bring a pint-size container and a tomato for a hands-on demonstration.
September 20: Seed Saving Techniques Part 2. Discussion on dry seed saving used for peas, beans, and herbs—plus a hands-on activity on cleaning and sorting seeds.
