Garrett Graff, author of The Only Plane in the Sky, will be live via a virtual author visit. He will discuss how he researched and wrote the only written oral history of 9/11.

Garrett Graff is the author of The Only Plane in the Sky, the 2021 One Book Siouxland pick. He drew on never-before published transcripts, recently declassified documents, and original interviews and stories from nearly 500 government officials, first responders, witnesses, survivors, friends, and family members to paint a comprehensive, minute-by-minute account of the September 11, 2001 attacks. This virtual presentation will focus on that day, which changed the course of history, and all our lives.
