The presentation by Mary Reecy Fitzgerald, author of "South Dakota Quilts and Quiltmakers," will focus on features of classic South Dakota quilts, including South Dakota Star, patchwork, and Nine Patch block designs. The director of the South Dakota Quilt Documentation Project, she has interviewed quilters and examined over 1,600 quilts across the state.
