Lakota Woman Lily Mendoza will be leading a discussion on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Children, and Two Spirit.
Lily Mendoza is the founder of the Red Ribbon Skirt Society and Deer Woman Consulting and an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She works on educating and creating awareness surrounding topics such as historical overviews, the current situation regarding Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, traditional healing practices, and suggestions on how to help the community.
